Traditionally, poker is played with a standard 52-card pack of cards. However, some poker games also include jokers and wild cards.<\/p>\n
A “pot” is the pot of chips in the middle of the table. The highest hand wins the pot. A “showdown” occurs after the final betting interval. All players show their cards. During the showdown, the best hand is revealed and wins.<\/p>\n
Poker chips are usually made of ceramic or plastic. The blue chip is worth ten, twenty or twenty-five whites. The red chip is usually worth five whites.<\/p>\n
Poker is played by a group of people around a circular table. Each player has a set of five cards. They are ranked from Ace to Ace. The best natural hand is a straight flush, a five card hand in the same suit.<\/p>\n
