Poker is a card game played by a group of players who sit around a round or oval table. When multiple antes are present, players are not allowed to check-raise.
When a player’s hand is better than his opponent’s, the player can check the pot or fold. The player can also declare the pot open if he has openers. However, falsely declaring the pot open will cost the player the ante money and may also disqualify him from playing on subsequent deals. In poker, bluffing is an important strategy that involves claiming that you have the best hand in order to convince your opponents to fold their hands.
